Mine Construction Manager Jobs

Stratum International’s Mining Job Market Survey shows that 30% of the mine project development roles we filled last year were mine construction jobs.

A report from the Australian Workforce and Productivity Agency (AWPA) warned of volatility in mining construction jobs in Australia over the next four to five years. Our experience, however, is that global demand for the very best mine construction managers remains steady – but the standards expected from candidates are increasing. We are therefore extremely interested in building on our existing database of top tier mine construction managers at the top of their game.

We’re looking for highly experienced Mine Construction Managers who can supervise and direct the mine construction process and provide support to the senior management team in the form of guidance and reporting.

You will be able to:

  • Ensure the mine construction is conducted according to the appropriate standards, specifications and regulatory requirements, within budget and on schedule.
  • Coordinate, guide and manage mine construction personnel and the EPCM or owner’s team.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Promote and lead a culture of safety consciousness and environmental awareness throughout the construction process.

Ideally you’ll have a degree in Civil, Construction or Mine Engineering, however we also recognise the immense value of construction and project management experience. We’re particularly interested to hear from people with exposure to multi-national, ethnic and cultural environments.

If you believe you fit this description, we’d like to hear from you. Please complete the form below.
